well i have two 1st gens and my personal phone the 3G
i use the 1st gens for hacking and modd experiments

Both the First gen 4 days after it came out. The 3G the day it came out
I would love to buy another first gen though because to me there so much more stable. But I love my "gps" but wish the map didnt always stay north but rotated while I drove.

I like my 3g better cuz it's actually legit. My 1st gen was unlocked so it couldn't do everything I wanted. But my 3g is awesome. I love having Internet everyehere

2 1st gens. Prolly wait awhile till I get a 3g cause I don't like ATT and don't want to be stuck with them for 2 years

8gb and 16gb first gen, about to buy a white 3g waiting for unlock. Heard too many stories about xxxsim adapters working and then quitting.

I need to have the 3G for "work" so thats why I have one with AT&T...I keep the old phone for personal use on T-Mobile.
