Dead Iphone Data Recovery

I may have fried my iPhone via power surge from car charger and I'm looking for solutions with recovering data from a dead iphone (won't turn on). Alternatively, solutions to repair the phone.

I've spent countless hours googling my way to a solution and have had no luck. I hope the modmyi experts can help out.

I had a similar issue with my iphone with very important data inside. I finally decided to send it to a data recovery company based in China after checking on several forums: http://www.deadhardrive.com
It took them about a week to get all my data back.
