Problem with downloading packages.Pls help

Well am new comer so i would like to say a hi to all,nice job.
Got my iphone with 1.1.4version last week.am trying few days to download and install some cool programs.some programs are fast at download some others are not.it takes alot of time.for example am trying to download pocketguitar from ur repository source and the download bar is stacked..
when trying to to download a youtube video it download 1mb max and then it stuck again.generally seem damn slow with internet and downloads.anyone know a tip or a solution?my wifi settings are ok.it connect fine.also the busy circle(the thing it shows the network activity in iphone) is always running even if dont download something.

reset network settings on phone. restart phone give it a try, some sources are slow specialy if there is a lot off ppl downloading from it

ps. Periods at end of sentences only help if they are followed by a space
