someone help!!! My screen is messed up

My 3rd row on my phone is not working. The numbers like 789 arent working. i think my digitizer is off line or something. I have absolutley no idea.. Can anyone help!!!

You lucky duck! Restore it up to 1.1.3 and get rid of any traces of it being modified and if it still doesn't work take that sucker over to Apple and get a new, free iPhone!

i actually bought it from someone off of craigslist and now it started messing up the other day.. Do you think i can still get a new one or will they fix it? its not modified and I have at & t. But i dont have a box and its not registered to me..
