Home to Answer?

I have an iPhone which the screen does not calibrate correctly about 70% of the time, which is fine, I can just lock it again and unlock it to get into it... however, this does not work when someone is calling, as it sends the call to voicemail.

Being as my screen rarely allows me to "Slide to Answer", is there anyway to answer the call with the hard buttons (Home, volume, etc.)?

This could be useful to many, especially in cold climates where gloves are warn.

If there is no hard answer feature, do you think it'd be possible to create a script/modify some code to create it?

i don't believe there is another way to answer the phone other than slide to answer, unless you're wearing a bluetooth headset or earphones that have a mac compatible with the iphone. this has been discussed before since, as you said, would be useful in cold weather and i haven't seen a solution yet
