you can buy the parts at http://www.ifixit.com/ or http://cnn.cn/shop/, but beware taking apart your phone takes a lot of patience

i have orderred from both of those sites, cnn seems cheaper (but based out of hong kong, so shipping is more), and ifixit carries tools that make it easier to take apart your phone

i personally would try to decide if the scratches are worth spending a couple hundred dollars.. apple will probably fix it for around $250 and i imagine you could do it yourself for about 150

oh and also if you do decide to take it in to apple, a restore would be a good idea (i am assuming that your phone is jailbroken), and be sure to backup your phone first

The apple replacement is $250. Many people have had it done in the forums so the price is (most likely) accurate. I am not sure if apple has a way of telling if you opened your phone or not. If they can tell, then doing it yourself will void warranty. If the warranty doesn't matter go for it, or if you are really confident in your abilities, go for it. I have taken them apart, really you just need patience and the right tools. i recommend a hard plastic spudger, just so you don't scratch anything with a metal one. Also remember, hard prying is bad prying. The phone wasn't hammered together, so gentle, even pressure will do the trick. I would also recommend some tight fitting latex (or some other non-cloth material) gloves so you don;t get fingerprints under the glass, onto the LCD, etc. where you won;t be able to remove them unless you take the unit apart again.
