I hope someone can help out here.

I bought an iPhone one day before the official announcement by Steve Jobs was made.

The iPhone is still sealed and the back of the box has a serial number like this:

84751XXXXXX

Does anyone know what version this iPhone is, without me opening the box and risking $40?

It's probably 1.1.2 because they would have to sell all the iPhones that the store has and it would take a while to get rid of them all.
