hiding sms

is there a way of hiding the sms messages that appear on the iphone for everybody to see. is their an app out their that hides them? my old phone says 1 new message then i click a button to view.

If you go to settings and then general and then passcode lock. you can set a passcode and then it gives you the option of turning off SMS preview.....thats the only way i know and still it pops up letting you know that LARRY wrote you a text message but not whats in it....I hope that help

you could use the app reveal method, my making the actual sms icon invisible until you double tap it.

it would be a blank space where your sms icon was then dble tap it to make it show as normal.

if this is of interest, reply back and can post how to do it.

I think he's talking about the pop-up not the actual APP
