Getting pissed off by photos

When I sync photos to my computer taken with my phone, delete them off of my phone, and sync them back, they are quite frequently rotated 90 counterclockwise. What makes it even worse is that it's not determined by how I orientated the phone when I took the picture; it just seems to always want to be 90 counterclockwise. What makes it EVEN WORSE is that they are right-side-up on my computer, so there's really no way to just open up Preview, rotate them all, and save them back.

When you guys take pictures, do you leave them in your Camera Roll, or sync to computer, delete from Camera Roll, and sync back?
