1.2.0 Youtube fix

I have a first gen, jailbroken 1.2.0 iPhone with AT&T. whenever i tried using the youtube application I get the following error;

"You must first connect to iTunes with an internet connection to enable YouTube"

Well I have done that several times and nothing seems to work.. I have also tried using safari to get to youtube and once the video is about to show up the error comes up again..

Any help is greatly appreciated...
