    Default SWOD gone in 2.0??

My iPhone froze up last night after trying to update an app (from the appstore) so I decided to force restart and when I did it stuck at the boot screen forever (at least 20 minutes). And I thought it was weird that there was not the little spinning wheel. It just seemed to be taking forever to boot, but when I ssh'd in and replaced the springboard.plist the phone finally booted. So is it just a one time deal or is the SWOD gone?
