    Default iTunes 7.7 (latest version)

    Hey guys I have a simple question but I could not find a definite answer on here so far. I recently got my laptop and iPhone back from a repair shop. So I do not have iTunes installed as my laptop was reformatted so I want to know if I install iTunes 7.7 will it brick my iPhone? I have a 1st gen 16gb w/ 1.1.4 on it. Thanks in advance for any replies!

    No, it will just warn you that you need to upgrade your FW on your iPhone. You can tell it not now and also tell it not to warn you again if you want.
