HELP my ifone is stuck in connect to itunes mode!!!!!!!!!

i tried to upgrade with winpwn 2.02 or w.e and i did shift click on restore and then it said it failed to restore and now wen it checks for updates it says

"itunes cant contact the iphone software because you are not connected to the internet, check your internet connection and try again"

I don't kno what to tell you about the Internet notification ....but the same thing happened to me earlier today I was totally lost...but MY answer was very simple (keep in mind I don't kno everything you did prior to the malfunction)but my advice to you is


Uninstall iTunes...then reinstall...very simple

yes it just goes right back to the connect to itunes screen with a picture of the itunes logo and a usb cable

well this is what I did...I deleted any custom firmwares that I made...deleted them all....then took my sim card out(because I had to use another phone because mines was having the same prob)....then I uninstalled iTunes 7.7 then went to apple and reinstalled...put sim card back in...hooked phone up to comp...hit restore...and here I am typing this message to you

even when i take out my sim card the connect to itunes thing is still there..

Are you sure you properly went to DFU mode? DFU mode shows nothing but a black screen.

Hold down the power and home button for six to ten seconds (I do six), then let go of the power button, but continue to hold home until your computer makes a sound that tells you it has detected a usb connection (iPhone). Your iPhone will remain black.

yea it wont go into dfu mode it does absolutely nothing ... im just gonna take it to at&t and let them hardcore reset it or sumthin i guess idk
