UPDATE:
i have begun the process of xwinpwn

UPDATE 2:
Supposedly completed customfw

UPDATE 3:
Following pwn process

UPDATE 4:
watching with anticiaption as itunes restores

Update 5:
5 minutes pass and its finished
finished preparing anyway now waiting for restore to complete

6:
verifying after 10 minutes

7:
restoring AGAIN?!?!?

8: over 14 minutes wait restore sucessful and boot neuter has appeared
9: bootloader flashed and now flashing baseband
10:baseband supposdly finished and phone restarted
11:i see springboard, o2-uk connection (despite being on pAg) and cydia ICON WOOTTTT!!!!!!!!!

the might be a stupid question but what do i do here. Copy the original iPod Touch firmware .ipsw file in the program folder and rename it to "iPod1,1_2.0_5A347_Restore.ipsw" without the quotes for the iPod touch or renamed to "iPhone1,1_2.0_5A347_Restore.ipsw" for the iPhone 2G.

i got everything to work but i got a error 6 or something at the end this is the 20th time im trying to jailbreak any ideas?

Well, it's not working form e. I get rid of that error (bleh, stupid me, was missing Net framework). Made custom firmware and started pwning my phone. Got error and now my phone is stuck

ok this is a loads of... titunes downloads the files an names them so ignore this. just make sure if you pwn ipod use the ipod fw if your using iphone use the iphone fw

Make sure:

its 7.7
that ur ipod/iphone was in DFU mode
that cutomizing of fw finished before you reconnected anything

can you get back to DFU mode if so go back and rebuild custom fw and try again.

ok, maybe i hit lucky with this but i just followed it all how it says.

I downloaded xwinpwn
unziped
downloaded 2.0 on itunes (7.7)
moved 2.0 to xwinpwn folder(already named what it asks for!!!)
closed itunes
opened xwinpwn
hit custom fw button
hit pwnage button
FOLLOWED POPUPS one by one
set fone to DFU
moved to itunes as asked
hit shift and clicked restore
chose custom fw in custom folder(NOT 2.0 in main folder)
waited..

yeh i thought this 2.. ok u dont have all the choices as u do on winpwn but it gets the job done and then u can add things after knowing its worked

Yea Pretty Much...No Choices..Now Just Got To Wait For Cydia To Get Alot Of Apps
Just Remember To Closes All Itunes Process's And Put The 2.0 File In The Root File Of App And Dont Interrupt The Iphone When Its Done Restoring... Leave The Iphone Connected Intill Its Done Flashing..
