Ok I need a program that will take the songs OFF my iPhone. I restored my computer and I want my songs back. I have a program (iDump) and it does not recognize the iPhone. Also this is for XP, not MAC.

I think no. When you import it to iTunes, the title and artist display on iTunes will be fine...to access a particular song, just right click and select "Open in Windows Explorer".

There's plenty of free programs for doing stuff like this, use WinSCP. Tansee iPhone Copy is a pay-program that does the exact same thingTo live, you have to lie

this is a free app, no need for trials or such and it works great! it even rips the songs into separate folders and organizes them
although its made for ipods, it works perfect on the iphone(ive tried it)
only thing it doesnt copy is videos
thanx button in advance

need to bump up an old thread here for anyone that can help me.
my old laptop died, I owned a 3gs with music on it. got new laptop, used sharepod and funbox to rip music off.
it shows up that I have 433 songs on the phone, but I have over 500. any ideas why these extra songs cant be located? I believe them to be mainly songs that I purchased on itunes on the phone.

not sure why that is happening, open sharepod and see, if u purchased via itunes on the iphone then they could be on a seperate folder that sharepod doesnt look for

sharepod doesnt seem to be able to find it, going to try iphonebrowser 1.93
