Iphone 2.0 - Region & Appsupport patch needed

Hey there,

By any chance, if anyone has any idea on where to find these patches from for the 2.0. Please let me know.

EDIT:

Before asking for your countries patch. Try the attachment provided by me. It has most of the countries!

Steps:

Step 1: Install OpenSSH from Cydia
Step 2: Use winscp to connect to the iPhone via your IP address Username:root Password: alpine
Step 3: Navigate to the following folders on your iPhone using WinSCP replace the following files:
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AppSupport.framework/PhoneNumberTemplates.plist
with file from Rar
Step 4: Restart iPhone

Writing from Pakistan here, and desperately in need of the patches...

Have upgraded to 2.0, and apart from missing Installer, the lack of these patches is driving me absolutely insane!

* backup & change the file PhoneNumberTemplates.plist

I replaced the plist file, but unfortunately the problem still persists.
I'm trying to work my way around the plist file....i hope i get lucky!

hopefully they will be avaliable soon, with more support for other countries.
I believe you already contributed to iphones community. Now ppl in your country would have fast access to the solution thanks to you.

Hi guys, anybody knows how to make it work for Argentina? I tried the file posted above but it does not fix it. I'm having troubles particularly with mobile phone numbers.

Ok try this attached file, follow the steps:

go:
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AppSupport.framework/
Backup the orgininal PhoneNumberTemplates.plist & replace it with the PhoneNumberTemplates.plist provided in the attachment.

Let me know if it needs some tweaks.

Try to change PhoneNumberTemplates.plist. I didnt change anything in UIPhoneFormats. If it didnt work for you, let me know.

I've been trying to make it work for Chile for several hours now and i can't do it! does anyone have working templates for Chile? Or maybe can work with me on some, because i'm not sure i really understand the XML file
