Volume increase in 3g?

Hello everyone this is my first message that I'm typing from my new iPhone I would like to know if there is a way to increase the sound that comes out of the phone I looked at all the settings but I still have problems hearing things.

Well if you just look on the left side of the phone their should be two buttons. If you push up the volume should increase

Getting a bigger pair of ears to match your big nose would be a good start!

Here is a tip that some have found usefull
1. You will first need to jailbreak your Iphone (blog.iphone-dev.org | Redmond, we have a Pwnapple!) just jailbreak.
2. Install the respository iclarified from cydia
3. Install the Volumeboost (iClarified - iPhone - How to Increase the Volume of Your 2.0.1 iPhone)

Also, I'm not sure if you mean ringer volume or every sound in general... If it's ringer, you can always edit an .mp3 and amplify, boost, tweak gain, however you want to call it, clip it and use it as your ringtone. You will need to convert from ..mp3 to .m4r to use it first.
