itunes keeps backing up new phone

every time i connect new 3g to itunes it keeps backing up whenever i sync and takes forever! any way to get rid of this?

i had the same problem, doug from appleiphoneschool said just let it back up all the way once and it shouldnt do it again, but that didnt work. i restored it once and now it doesent do it anymore.
so try a restore i guess.
