New to EVERYTHING
Hi everyone!
I currently have T-Mobile and was lucky enough to know someone eligible for upgrade with ATT... needless to say, I have myself a nice 16 gig iphone.
Now, i have NO idea what i am doing and really dont want to brick this thing, so please bare with me.
Ddo i have 2.0 on this new phone, or is all this 2.0 talk seperate from the new iphones?
I know unlocking and jailbreaking are different... which do i do first? How do i do it? Will it be a different process for the new phones?
I'm sure all these questions have been answered here already; I'm just really overwhelmed.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
THANKS!!!!
-Dave

Oh, ok, at the moment, the iPhone 3G can not jailbroken or unlocked. The devs didn't release their program yet, so you are going to have to wait. (on a note it is jailbreakable and unlockable, but the program allowing to do so is not released to the public community)

Gotcha! Thats what I thought; I just wanted to make sure.
So the 3G phones come with 2.0, right?
