Well i lost my original iphone a week before the new 3g launch, so i planned to get a new one. i had the plan all set, wake up at 7 and have mom drop me off, she was all in aggreiance. now the day comes and she realizes she has to chaperon my 4yr old niece and her field trip. so i had to wait untill 5pm and havent found a single store since launch that isnt sold out. so i had to reserve it and wait now 7-10 more days!!!! being iphone less is killing me... now my rant is over, anybody else in a similar boat.

I'm waiting. I live in Brooklyn, and the 3 NYC apple stores all have them in stock, but the lines are 3-4 hours. Not worth it especially since I have the first phone. I work next week then have off for two weeks, so the craze will die down by then somewhat at least. Even an hour I am willing to wait....but 3 or more....no thanks! For those that do it, more power to ya!

no. my ride ended up having something to do, so i couldnt go. and at the apple stores, do you get the discount for having the old uphone?

Day 3 of the 3G launch.... 25 people in line at 5:00PM. Called the Apple store from in line and they ran out of white ones! I'll go back next weekend.

Same here - The Manhattan store was a madhouse on the 11th.

I'll be getting the white 16gb hmmm or the black lol - thats been my biggest dilemma and I don't want both thats just nuts well maybe its not oh **** another dilemma. LOL
