    Default Last question before restore
I have an Iphone FW 1.0.2 with modem FW 04.01.13_G running on Vodafone Egypt, I use a mac with ITunes 7.5.
I want to upgrade the main FW to 1.1.1.
I think the way is to virginize, then restore the FW 1.1.1. then activate and unlock.
As I am unfamiliar with any of these steps I have a couple of questions:
    - First, are these the right steps?
    - When I download the FW 1.1.1 where do I place it so the ITunes can access it to do the restore?
    - If anybody has any useful tips for this process please let me know.

    Thanks a lot

Yes, these are the right steps. Download the 1.1.1 FW from this site, and just put it on your desktop. In iTunes, when your iPhone is plugged in, Option-Click on the RESTORE button, and browse to the desktop. Then select the file.
Get "iPod & iTunes for Dummies", it'll change your life.
