    Yes Sito.
    You can open up a Microsoft Word Document (.doc) on your iPhone or iPhone 3G. However, you can not save this document or edit it, just view and zoom in upon it. You can however, put the mail in a "Starred" or "saved" mail folder, depending on what your email provider is.
    Good luck with those documents.
