HELP - iPhone Problem!

Ok so I got an iPhone that is stuck in recovery mode (the window where it shows the itunes logo and the white cord) and when I connect the iphone to my computer it will not detect that anything is connected. Itunes doesn't even show that anything was connected. How can I fix this? PLEASE HELP ME!!

Thanks!

Nope nothing worked. Itunes or any other program won't even detect anything connected.

Restart the phone and put it in DFU mode. All you have to do is hold the power+home buttons at the same time until the phone turns off, but continue to hold the home button for 20 seconds give or take. The phone will appear off, but the computer should recognize it.
