stuck on itunes recovery mode

so, ive had my phone jailbroken at 1.0.2 and 1.1.1 but today i decided to upgrade to 1.1.2. the thing is, my phone is stuck on cycling through the itunes restore screen.

first thing i tried was restoring from itunes but that was a no go. i than tried putting the phone into recovery mode with the yellow !, but no matter how many times i do it, it wont prompt. i was successful when using the 1.1.2 jailbreak to boot from restore, but when it was restoring it died half way.

any ideas?
