I heard somewhere that if you currently have a plan with AT&T and have an iphone, that you dont have to pay another 10 dollars per month (from 20 - 30) that new customers have to pay when getting the iphone 3g and the 3g service.
I called both ATT and Apple and neither of them could confirm that this is true.
No, when you upgrade to 3G you sign up for a new iPhone data plan that replaces your old one (which was 20) and the new one is 30. Old iPhone users however if they keep using 1st gen iPhones your data rate doesn't change
