iPhone outer screen replace???

Good evening,

My iPhone screen has a crack (pretty big one) down on the left side, but the good news is that is working normally...I have no problems with scrolling,touching and in general using iPhone.It is only matter of "looking"...

I want to replace the screen, but as I read in internet it's not possible to replace just the "outer part" of the screen but only the whole screen itself...is it true?? But I found this in ebay and as I can see it is only the "outer part" of the screen...is it real??can I replace it??because whole screen is very expensive...

please tell me what to do...thanks!

next to impossible. The glass is attached to the digitizer via industrial glue. Good lucky getting it off without damaging it. sorry

check out iPhone - Alcatel, Microsoft, Nokia, Dopod/O2, SonyEricsson, BenQ-Siemens, HTC, Motorola,

It is the glass with the digitizer for $169. As Rusty pointed out, good luck trying to seperate them without damaging anything.

But you CAN do it, someone else did awhile back and replaced the glass with a piece of plexi glass they cut down.
