I also heard there wouldn't be one for the 1 gen phones, due to the popularity of the 3g versions. All the hackers are going to focus their efforts on the new phone so people with the old ones are screwed.

Ha, jailbreaking wont be the hard part, all the developers having to port their apps to the 2.0 framework is the hardpart. Say we jailbreak the f/w in 1 week....We will still have to wait for Installer/Cydia and all the apps you can download with them to be 2.0 compatible.
