I have to take in my iphone tommorow to get a replacment. I bypassed activation by jailbraking it not unlocking. What should i do? If i restore it will it not work with my at&t sim. Thanks DJ

I forgot to say its on firmware 1.1.1 if I restore will it go to 1.1.2

If you never unlocked it and never tried then just restore it don't really matter if it goes up to 1.1.2 if your returning it

If you did not activate through at&t you could have a problem since they will see that it was never activated.

Yeah I hear that they aren't taking iPhones that haven't been activated with AT&T... Lol if I ever have problems with mine and its still under warranty I'm gonna fry that sucker and say I just left it plugged into my car charger

If you have problems returning an unactivated iPhone at an apple store, then call their corporate offices and tell them they wouldnt take it because it was unactivated. They will let you return it. Its yours, you paid for it, so they technically cannot say no, thats illegal.!ROHT YTHGIM EHT MA I
