How to prep iphone for Apple?

I have to send my iphone back to apple for a service as my headphone jack has stopped working? I've called them up and got the prepaid repair box etc so thats all sorted

BUT

I have unlocked my iphone using Ziphone running firmware 1.1.4, and would like to know if simply restoring my phone in itunes is enough to hide the fact that it has been unlocked and jail broken? Cos i dont want to send it back and then they refuse the warranty repair.

What firmware did your iPhone come with? If it was out of the box with 1.1.2 or later you will need to download Bootneuter from iClarified and upgrade your bootloader to 4.6 first. Then restore in iTunes to firmware 1.1.4 and send it back.

Unless you bought it with 1.0.2 or 1.1.1 then you need to upgrade.

Just done it. HWinfo is saying baseband present. i take it this is ok? Bootneuter is saying 4.6, neuter on, fakeblank off (does it need to be on?) unlock on

Is it looking good to go back to Apple?
