So I finally dropped my iphone and of course cracked the glass! Wonderful I thought! I found some articles here and there how to fix this (I am pretty handy). But what I seem to find is I guess the fricken glass is glued to the digitizer! Crap! So has anyone actually managed to detach this successfully?? I found a glass replacement on eBay, so I would think this has to be possible! I did find a article where some guy scraped a whole bunch of glass off and re-attached another, but I wasn't sure if there was a alternative. I hate to spend another $150-200.
It's extremly hard to do without tearing something up, thanks to apple and their greatness...be extremly careful when scraping around the edge, or I will buy it/ trade it from ya! eBay glass shoudl be OEM, if not it will usually scratch lke no other, I did the same thing on a few phones I had, the japense knock off glass lasted half as long and scratched easier..
