HELP! My iPhone won't update/restore to any firmware different than 1.0.2

Hi, I want to thank everyone that makes this forums possible.

Im writing because I've tried all the ways to update my iphone from 1.0.2 to 1.1.1 but It wont update/restore even after virginizing it.

The onle firmware it accepts is 1.0.2 if I try anotherone it will say error 1, or error something like 02x2023930 or whatever... in the updating process...

So I have to end up restoring it in 1.0.2 and unlocking it, but I just want to have 1.1.1

Does someone know what is happening ?

I once updated my iPhone to 1.1.2 then restored it to 1.1.2 then after a million of different stuff I ended up fixing it and it is working smoothly in 1.0.2 but doesnt update...

Can it be iTunes version 7.5 that only lets updating to 1.1.2?

no 7.5 isnt the problem... try unstalling and reinstalling itunes... you said you virginized your phone already? if you did then your phone isnt the problem, its itunes. just reinstall it
