So can an OTB 1.1.2 be unlocked yet?

Hi,
I've been away from this forum for quite sometime now and I was wondering if a brand new out-of-the-box 1.1.2 firmware iphone can be unlocked yet? I've upgraded and unlocked a 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 but don't know about an OTB 1.1.2. I'm thinking about getting one for my ma for christmas. So need to know before I buy. Thanks.

Doubt it, only option to use with another carrier is to use TurboSim or StealthSim

So is there just no way to unlock an otb 1.1.2? Can't you downgrade to 1.1.1, use oktoprep and re-upgrade back to 1.1.2? Do you think that would work? Has anyone tried it yet?

u bett man it should be out real soon now cause its gettin on my nerves now...i have the dam phone since a month now but cant unlock it....come on DEV team get it out man its enough ull have kept us waiting now no more plssss......everyones waitin wat u gettin by not realeasin it???any idea guys approx wen should it come out cant just wait man.....
