Repair needed
On Saturday, following a lovely journey through West Cork in SW Ireland, I noticed that I hadn't received any calls, checked phone only to read the dreaded message, "Repair Needed" - no service, no Wi-fi, nothing - all I have now is a very expensive Ipod.
Spent the rest of the weekend reading various guides and forums, most with conflicting information, and none which matched my conditions precisely. Most of the advice was also quite old.
So the data, 16Gb iphone, 1.1.4, bought unlocked in NY, Itunes and Iphone browser both "see" the phone in its current condition. Running PC on XPpro.
Does anyone have a definitive method of restoring the phone? I've tried nothing.
Any and all help is sincerely appreciated. Thank you
