does this sound like what happened to your phone... Oddly enough this happened with mine today...the screen flickers white, n then after it the white fades out, the springboard shows up, but inverted like a mirror... I've been googling, and haven't been able to find any resources on this issue... anyone else experience anything like this?
This happened to my iPhone 3G 16GB, the image is reversed in both directions, horizontally and vertically... but I didn't replace the screen at all. This happened on it's own... so I doubt you have it in wrong... I am sure there is a way to fix it, where you able to find out?
When I reassembled my Iphone 2g, the images on the screen were reversed left to right. I rechecked everything and decided that I would hold down the power button and the home button at the same time to reboot. That fixed the problem.
