About to sell my iPhone - How can I "reformat" to get rid of all my info?
Hey guys - I've just sold my 1.1.4 iPhone (jailbroken), and before I ship I want to totally eliminate all of my personal information. Contacts, name of iPhone etc... and set it back to a "virgin" state so to speak, before jailbreaking and unlocking it for the new buyer. Can anyone tell me how I can "reformat" the thing so that any of my personal info (songs, contacts, pics) and the like are all gone?
I've googled. Google search seems to reveal that regular erase methods won't get rid of the junk that 3rd party applications have left behind. Thus, I've come here to where people are knowledgeable about 3rd party apps and "advanced" iPhone use in the hopes people will know better.
Edit: Thanks corey. This will take care of 3rd party jailbroken stuff too?
