    Default Lockscreen SMS messages

I seem to remember that when I received a SMS message on my 1.1.4 the message would show up on the lock screen.
    It doesn't any more.
Is this a setting or another application that did this?

    Thanks

you probably changed it in the passcode lock settings.

go to settings in home, then go to general, then go to passcode lock, it will ask you for a pass, then theres an option called "show sms preview" set it on and there you go

Thanks but I never use a password to lock my phone.
Will I need to or just to it to turn on the SMS preview?

    Thanks
