I know that your date and time settings can interfere with the incoming SMS timestamps, when you disable "set automatically" option and change the timezone. Try it.
In my case, however, this proved to be useless, since I receive SMS from two different carriers and each one of them comes with its own weird timestamp... I think that, in my case, they handle with DST differently, since their SMS timestamps are respectively one hour behind and one hour ahead the real time.
I reached the conclusion that this is a network problem and there is nothing we can do about it...
