    Default memory

i have the 8 gig iphone. I was at walmart or something and noticed that apple makes 80 gig ipods etc, and they dont look much bigger than the 8 gig iphone. Can someone add memory to the current iphone, or does anyone know of any future higher memory iphones coming out?

No. The 80GB iPods use actual spinning platter hard drives, where as the iphone and ithouch use a NAND flash chip. It may be possible to take the 16GB chip from the itouch, but it wont be easy. You would have to physically desolder the old and resolder the new chip to the mainboard. Good luck!
