Unlocked iPhone Shows call failed on a missed call

Whenever i miss a phone call the pop up says call failed. is there anyway to fix this so that it says missed call and tells me what the number/name of the missed caller

btw its a 1.1.1 unlocked iphone running on t-mobile?

is this common? does everyone else's T-mobile unlocked iphone do this?

Yes, mine does as well. Unlocked iPhone 1.1.1 OTB using T-mobile. everything else works fine. If I go into the missed calls it does show the name/number of the person I missed, but the popup of a missed call shows Call failed.

i too am on tmobile, and have the same problem. v. 1.1.2 of the firmware, latest baseband.

This happens to me too - I also notice that if the caller hangs up before it sends them to voice mail, that it will correctly show the name as a missed call. However, if they are redirected to voice mail, it shows "Call Failed".

Perhaps the solution lies in how the phone forwards to voice mail?
