my parents have geico. is there any possibility that i can get insurance for my iphone with them?

The iPhone is not cheap. Not in the least. And if at&t were to offer insurance on it, after someone bricks it, they will run it over a few times with a car. Therefore, at&t would lose so much money

cell phone companies always do that with new phones. When the RAZR V3 was released (and it cost $200+), AT&T (or was it Cingular then? LOL) wouldn't insure it either. Same with the 8215, 8525, et. al.

    They probably will later.

All insurance is a rip off. I'll save the $40 and spend it on crack

I'm sure they already thought about giving insurance. Then they realized how many scammers are out there.
