I NEED HELP!!!

My Installer App crashes...

(story to tell how it happened) I wanted to get the Customize App and I got it but there was nothing in it to customize. I started downloading all these sources. I forgot the name but it said download +130 sources. after that, I cant even open up the Installer App.

If I tap the icon, it will pull up a blank screen and send me back to home page after about 20 seconds.

I tried hooking my iPhone up to iTunes and restoring it through that but it says "The requested sources for download could not be found."

I even tried to restore through the iPhone's settings

Please help me. I could never destroy such a beautiful thing as the iPhone!!!

Maybe you should do a DFU restore:

1. Connect to your computer, hold the power and home buttons down (the iphone will power off after about 10 seconds, but keep holding both buttons down)
2. As soon as the iPhone powers off, (black screen) release the power button (but keep holding the home button down). (If you see the apple logo or connect to itunes logo you are not in DFU mode so try it again)
3. After about 20 seconds or so, Itunes should see your iphone. It is now safe to release the home button, and your iPhone is in DFU mode.
Now iTunes should ask you to restore its firmware.

Restore to 1.1.4 and jailbreak with iliberty+

Before restoring.. get into your phone thru SSH and delete installer.app from there, then re-jailbreak again with ziphone.. that should put installer again on your phone!

Thanks but im still having trouble doing it. I see the connect to itunes logo pop up. Is it possible if you can make youtube video or something similar. That would be much appreciated by many other people.

Scratch that!!! I just retried what hiflyer method was and it worked. Thanx a million!! now its time to rehack it.. should I go with ziphone or iliberty+ ????
