Thread: Random Reboot

My iphone is randomly doing a running restart, like the one that occurs when you change a theme.
Randomly when I am sending a text or looking through music my phone will freeze and the little loading icon will appear in the middle and you will be booted to the locked screen.
This is becoming annoying, is there a software bug that is causing this? My phone is 1.1.2, can I virginize/restore and start new to remove this problem?

Do you have Summerboard installed? and if so is DIM background turned on? Turn it off.Get "iPod & iTunes for Dummies", it'll change your life.

Doing so now, If that is not the problem what else could it be?

And is there a way to restore? or will a normal restore brick it?

No need to restore. If it does keep happening, restore to 1.1.1, do the OKtoprep thing again and update.Get "iPod & iTunes for Dummies", it'll change your life.
