Could adding apps be harmful to our iPhones?
Could adding apps be harmful to our phones? I mean, things like iPhysics can't be good for the phones accelerometer. And there's no way that rainbow light can be good for are screen. And when I use gpSphone it feels like my phones going to explode! Don't get me wrong, I love all these apps but I love my phone more! So what do you guys think? Could all of this be shorting the life of our phones?

Making a phone call shortens the life of your phone.
In fact, typing that post just shortened the life of your computer

You guys are weird. It's not going to hurt it any more than your other apps on your iphone. Now they could SLOW you iphone down, but thats just from cluttering up your OS

It's common sense, the more you use something the more likely it is to break. You could maybe put your phone back in the box, maybe back in the plastic wrapping if you still have it. keep it in a cool dry place. I predict it will last at least a decade!

I don't really care if it kills it. thats what warrentys are for. All I want to know is if some apps do more damage than others?

I work at apple. The warrenty would be voided but if you can make it look and act as it would just out of the box then you're good. Keep in mind you only have a year warrenty that doesn't cause accidental stuff so if you do mess it up make sure you get it back to normal out of the box condition within that year. Also the limit on the number of iPhones people can get has recently gone up to 5 a person so have fun messing up your phones.
