[help!]..incoming calls problems.

hi folks,

slight problem..

when my phone is asleep (switched on but black screen, like when in your pocket!) it won't ring when a call comes in..screen stays black..

if i press the home button when i know it is ringing (i.e im calling it from another phone), it wakes up ringing and tells me theres an incoming call..

why is it not ringing/waking up when asleep/on standby?

my iphone is jailbroken, unlocked and pwned in every way...and works fine.

it just wont ring when on standby, maybe ive missed something?

Erm, to be honest, the only thing I would know to try, without further browsing or waiting in these forums for answers, is to try to restore, than jailbreak and unlock, and before you install anything via installer, see if it works.

thanks for your reply, i have already tried that.

i have the greyed out wi-fi problem too, as i used ibooter to alter my wifiaddr to stop my phone freezing all the time upon startup..

any other ideas?

If properly J/A/U, you shouldn't need to tweak anything (iBooter).
Did you use Ziphone at some point?

Why don't you try virginizing your device and starting from scratch with the original factory firmware that came with your iPhone and then work your way up to 1.1.4.

When J/A/U 1.1.4 try anything but Ziphone. I recommend you use WinPwn.

Don't restore your settings through iTunes; start as a new device.
