Is it only me or do you guys get the same thing with your iphone??
Oh and by the way my iphone is currently naked..so I can feel the warmthness of it when it gets warm. If you got a case or some sort of skin it may feel differently...Oh and it only feels warm on the back of it.

Your iPhone is definately suffering from a tropic disease, you should go and see a doctor ASAP!

Also, using data connection (EDGE\WiFi - and 3G in future) makes any phone hotter to a great extent.

Yea, as far as I know it is normal, my nearly brand-new iPhone does that whenever I install apps (I restore my firmware a lot) or transfer files via SSH for a longer period of time. But if it's just charging then I wouldn't say warm or hot, maybe mild.

You got good eyes and are willing to destroy them reading this. Oh yea, and you just wasted 30 seconds of your precious life. Enjoy the rest. And stop reading so you won't waste another 20 seconds. I knew it, you couldn't stop yourself. Aaargh, 10 more seconds gone!!!!!
