My itunes can't sync with my iphone anymore

When I plug in my iphone into the computer I open up my itunes and it says
This iphone cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the itunes installer to remove itunes, then install itunes again.

I tired restarting the computer, downloading itunes again, reinstalling itunes, restarting the iphone but nothing seems to fix it or make it sync

If there are no other ways to fix this problem, is there a problem to sync with iphone without itunes and put music and videos in iphone?

Did you jail break with ziphone, if you did dont do that next time. Put into DFU mode(search DFU mode) restore with itunes re jailbreak use iliberty or winpwn/ pwnage

I did jail break with Ziphone but now my iphone seems to not work anymore the screen just stays with the apple logo. How do i re do the whole thing again? Itunes still won't sync though

I have the same problem, except its not the apple logo, its the jailbreaker logo (I used QuickPwn 2.1 to jailbreak my iphone 3g) on it and it just stays like that switching off and coming back to the logo at its own free will...what should i do?

If you are using Quickpwn 2.1, I assume you are using firmware 2.1? I suggest restoring to 2.2 firmware in iTunes and trying Quickpwn again but you will need Quickpwn 2.2. If you have a mac, i recommend using Pwnage instead.
