o2 free upgrade to 3G iPhone

Hi guys, iv tryed to email o2 and find out about the free upgrade for the 3G iPhone and even foned them and on two times i one person sed theres nothing confirmed on it yet and mentioned u have to upgrade to the £45 contract and the second person told me they would contact u about it.

im on the £35 a month contract basicly all i wana know is am i ok to get the free upgrade and if this is true with having to upgrade to the £45 a month contract

i feel robbed with only buying my 16GB iPhone there and i wana get the 3G iPhone

£45 a month gives you a free 8GB iphone, any lower price plan and you pay for one and if you go higher you can get the 16GB free.

you will have to extend your current contract starting 18 months from purchase date.

best thing would be to buy the iPhone on PAYG and unlock it, saving you £10 a month.
