iphone and 3 network

Can I ask what might be a laughable question.. but my other half asked me and I don't know???

When I get the new iphone my husband would like to have my unlocked one, but he is on 3 network and wants to know if a 3 sim can be used in it??? Im guessing not because its 3g, but I would like to give the correct answer.

the only UK service provider the iphone 1st gen DOES NOT work with.

put it on ebay now and sell it for 2-300£ and buy him the 3G one on July 11th...

Hi

I have jailbroken and unlocked a 3g handset running 3.0 and everything works fine apart from it will not connect to the internet on the 3 network.

Any suggestions

You have got service right?

You need to find the APN settings for the 3 network and enter them into

settings>general>network>cellular data network
