Leave sim in while unlocking for resell?

I am currently on AT&T and I want to unlock and sell my iPhone. So I want to restore, unlock, jailbreak, and activate (via iLiberty+), and auction off on eBay. Will I do all of these steps with my sim in it (not including the selling part, of course ill take out the sim then). And is there anything else I need to know about selling a currently activated iPhone on AT&T??? Any help is appreciated.

there is a way to totally refresh the phone, as it stores some of your data in its file structure but i didnt do that.

main thing is after restore and before using iLiberty+, remove sim card and SIGN OUT of itunes, so that your itunes account isnt added to the new itunes on the iphone.

do this and your good enough to send to any normal buyer.
