It has a SIM card; Apple is including a SIM tray tool this time.

1- the iphone will be sim locked to the carrier that you buy it from. if in america, you will have to sign a contract before leaving the store with your phone. in the UK O2 has announced free 3g iphones on contract AND a PAYG OPTION!!!
so in the UK if you buy the PAYG option (may be more expensive, will have to see) you should be able to take it home and go through the same fake activate/jailbreak/unlock process as last time effectively.
2- the bluetooth is crippled still, and i believe always will be unless some dev spends hours and hours working out a way to get the needed profiles onto the iphone. sending files via bluetooth will ALWAYS be crippled, think of the loss in itunes sales....

Darn it, I was expecting to have Bluetooth File Transfer!
O2 network will provide a Pay as you Go version, but I still think that it will be locked

ye will be locked to O2 (ervice provider) for sure, like any other phone.
but no CONTRACT! so the price you pay for the handset PAYG is the price you pay.
can take home, unlock, jailbreak etc. just as before, and unlock to accept your current sim.
fingers crossed the price doesn't rise (steve jobs said in keynote $299 is the max price you will pay for 3g iphone anywhere in the world)

I dont think a legit bluetooth would be too bad. As long as the DRM is still on the music/videos, they wouldnt be able to watch them. But think, if you could download an mp3 off Safari, and then bluetooth it to a buddy; that would be great!
